Total Gamer scans -- Part One
Hello! You remember how I used to work for a magazine called Total Gamer? Well here's a bit of that.

I don't currently have access to every issue ever, but I do have a handful here, so I thought I'd go through them and scan any particularly good bits.

This first edition is titled, 'I Liked Psychonauts Before It Was Cool'.

You know... just for the goddamned record.

Next comes the 'proper' review -- months later, when the game finally came out in Australia. I think I prefer the original rant to this review.





Psychonauts has been popping into my head the past few days, reason being, I've been playing Super Mario Galaxy, and when I wonder how I might explain to people how incredible it is, the first thing I think is, "This is the most fun I've had since Psychonauts." It is... it is so good. Easily the best 3D Mario, and maybe the best Mario ever, depending on how you like your Mario. Certainly one of the best games ever made. I'm not kidding; it will blow your brain.

I don't really like many games, honestly. But I just keep playing and playing Super Mario Galaxy.

Writing about games, huh? I guess I made a living from that, for a time! How about that.
